Banking Service Chronicle The Indian Institute of Science (IISc) based in Bengaluru
was formally notified as an Institution of
Eminence (IoE) Deemed to be University on Oct 11. Under the loE scheme, bankingservices chronchile IISc will be supported by an additional
Z1,000cr over five years, over and above its annual grant. The
loE tag will also allow IISc autonomy in many aspects of operation,
including the ability to hire foreign faculty members to constitute
up to 25 per cent of its strength bsc magazine
